Double Disk Grinder with Vertical Spindle
This series uses powerful double disc grinding technology to simultaneously grind opposite and parallel surfaces flat, at high rates of production. The Vertical series is particularly suited for thin components or to suit automation in work feeding.
A sturdy forged spindle supported by precision bearings provides accurate finishing even under heavy-duty loads. The special spindle drive is designed to eliminate spindle deflection during grinding. Accurate positioning of grinding wheels is possible with zero backlashes through a precision ball screw, anti-friction slide, and digital control.
The optimum entry angle can be set for maximum accuracy through effective tilting of the upper head with the lower head in 2 directions.
Through the spindle, coolant is supplied to both spindles.
The swing arm wheel dresser is hydraulically operated.
All controls are provided within easy reach of the operator.
Optional CNC controls for fully automatic grinding cycle including dressing and compensation. Dressing is initiated by operator pressing “Dresser Start” button, or automatically through the programmable control.
Optional Auto loading & unloading can be provided specific the the grinding application.
Optional Gaging can be provided specific to the grinding application.
